UAL Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (Circus)

Course info

The UAL Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (Circus) is run in partnership with National Centre for Circus Arts and City and Islington College (Camden Rd Campus)

This course can be offered as a 1 year Diploma or 2 year Extended Diploma.

If eligible the course is offered free to 16-18 yr olds and funding is avaialble to those aged 19+.

The course is designed to explore training techniques in core circus disciplines, performance quality and learning about the performing arts industry.   The course is useful as a platform into higher education courses, performing and other studies.

Students will spend approximately 12 hours per week at the National Centre and 5 hours at the City and Islington Camden Road Campus.  Although this is not a full time course, students should expect to be on campus for up to 4 days a week.  This can be a physically demanding course and students will be expected to do some written work.

How to apply

The deadline for September 2018 intake has now closed.  

Applications for September 2019 will open in the new year with auditions being held in early June.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at grades A-C or BTEC/UAL Level 2 Diploma (merit);

Audition and interview

We take students based on their potential; however a healthy physical ability is useful.

We are only able to accept applicants from the UK and other EU/EEA countries.
